KATSEYE's "SIS (Soft Is Strong)" Review: A Dazzling Debut

 

KATSEYE’s first mini album, “SIS (Soft Is Strong)”, is a solid first impression of the kind of girl group that brings together the sound of K-pop with the best of western pop music. The tracks are filled with catchy tunes and high energy, the group’s vocal harmonies are well demonstrated on the tracks. All the songs and still have a powerful theme of standing up and standing together, which I think is evident from the group’s formation,  actualized by regular practises. Apparently, the production is tight, and the hooks used in the production are unforgettable. As for the lyrics, this EP provides the audience with a joyous and vibrant side but at the same time serves as a symbol of power. Overall, the song title, “SIS (Soft Is Strong)”, therefore there is still a great reception from audience makes me believe that KATSEYE opens space in the music business.
