The lyrics, too, are simple and straightforward. They were written by Michal Vašín, the song is really about staying with a person in a difficult period. Not going when life gets tough. A simple idea but I believe that is what makes it work. It should be simple and straightforward.
That feeling is really felt in the chorus. It's like a promise! Then the guitar solo appears and it's not around for a long time. It works and propels the song forward. The solo is followed by a big increase in energy. The drums are heavier, the guitars sound tighter and the chorus returns with more energy in the song. I found myself nodding along.
I also really like the lyric video. It's handcrafted and animated, and this has this simple, slightly sad expression that is very appropriate for the song. It keeps things simple. The band made it themselves—so it feels more connected to the song somehow. The track was also recorded, mixed and mastered by Jakub Malášek.
What I can't get out of my head is the concept of the song. Someone who says “I'm not going anywhere.” This is something that most people can relate to. When things get tough, we all want someone to be there for us and we are all likely to be there for someone else when things get difficult. There’s nothing complicated about the song. It doesn't need to give a big answer to the problem. It just remains all the time. But, really, sometimes that's all you need.
