“It Never Happened” is a folk-rock song by Block that makes use of equally good lyrics and music which makes any listener enjoy it. The track begins with guitar harmonies that have a somewhat sorrowful feeling, and Block’s lyrical voice makes one focus. The organisation of the track builds gradually from a slow tempo during the verse section and then launches into the chorus with an energetic drum and riffs. Off late there has been a trend of applying a very high amount of distortion to the guitars resulting to the production of charges, which are very eye drawing.
