Although it has been brought out by a relatively unknown artist, First Echo EP by Darkroom Data is magical in the sense that it catches the listeners off guard and does not let them go. This music piece directly appealed to the emotional side of me since I am a great music lover and I always appreciate such moments. The song starts off slow and mysterious with Brazilian synth from Márcio Paz and Gillian NoVa singing softly in the background like a gentle breeze. The musicians use their talent to establish fairy-tale feeling that is calming and puzzling as when one drives aimlessly at night. The simple components of the track appealed to me as the emotion becomes realistic through silence which forms a personal human feeling with each note. Thus, the sound is haunting in the best sense as it feels like an echo of something you cannot recall. The musical title “First Echo”, gives a magical masterpiece to the musical lovers who are passionate to hear or think about life. I’m still lost in it.
