Mahto together with The Loose Balloons present a folkish piece which can be experienced as an auditory travel with the song “1300.” The Tennessee-based band’s most recent album has lively warm tones of organic and synthetic instruments. Persistent and continuous bells accompany the guitar music with reverb that creates an ethereal tone of the track. The bass lines with the secondary harmonies are gradually revealed and give the depth to the music of the band. The singer does not rely on the technical instruments and this adds a personal touch to the song “1300” of folk genre which makes the song to stand out.
