The Courteeners’ “Pink Cactus Café” is both bubbling with energy and well alive, and an impressive extension of the Manchester band’s sound and collaborative play. In every song that comes out Gorr and his bandmates bring an element of catchiness within the tunes along with moving lyrics. It would be apt to call this album a perfect pop record because it oozes the vibe of a road trip or vacation spent in the brightest place on the map. Every single in the album has the relatable themes of youthful energy and the challenges of adulthood portrayed in one way or the other. The features incorporated throughout the record provide new ideas to the equation which enriches the zone overall, especially in terms of collaborations. “Pink Cactus Café” is a clear evidence of the progress of Courteeners in their music careers and calls audiences to come and follow them in this rather colourful musical experience.
