The Marble Arches' "Faking The Moment" Review

“Faking The Moment” is a genuine indie pop song that truly conveys the feelings that people have towards the one they love, but at the same time it tells what might pretend to be genuine love. The musical accompaniment consists of jangly guitars and heavy drumbeats giving the song the feel of raw passion that is characteristic of the young. The verse by both artists has a new feel to it and the voice of the lead vocalist gives a feel of shivers due to the lyrics that are impressive. The spirited, harmonious chorus encourages the listeners to join and dance although the themes regarding depression and optimism are embraced throughout the track. The tone of “Faking The Moment” hints at a movieland feeling which makes this album perfectly suitable for sound tracking youthful moments in life dwarfed by the mind.
