In Lambert’s latest album “Postcards from Texas”, love and tourism is portrayed through the feelings and experiences that one has while driving through the state of Texas. This tenth album contains a combination of profound life messages and childhood storeys that the audience would find delightful. Every track has lyrics that convey different emotions such as nostalgia and happiness of finding oneself in familiar places. In this sense it is possible to note that the narrative constructed by Lambert is extremely well done; the ability to tell the storey with a certain touch of humour while addressing such serious aspects of life as memories is indeed admirable, and Lambert does it really well. The recording is emotive and cosy, which goes well with her soulful type of music. By creating this album, and considering the simplicity of the songs along with the themes, one can well understand how dedicated and talented Lambert is and how she can easily touch hearts of her fans.
