Other than that, “Monk” is an intense, melancholical alternative rock music created by Dialtones who is rebellious spirited. A song that features funding part that offers marimba and bassline downtempo and as the tempo builds up to gits magical and enchanting vocals. First of all, the song is based on quite ambiguous lyrics that describe problems, for example, isolation or doubts about one’s own personality, which makes the listener to think. Last but not least, the chorus rises and engulfs one with an array of emotions; the song is dramatic and theatrical in nature. “Monk” will be appreciated by the fans of Radiohead in its early years and some of Smashing Pumpkins, as there are some additional layers and modulation in the record after having few listens.
